Installiere einmal eine Engine
Klone oder lade eine Skin-Engine wie Codex Dream Skin oder nutze einen Manager wie Codex Skin Manager. Ein einmaliges Setup.

Finde eine Skin im Index
Durchstöbere Kategorien oder suche nach Stimmung und Farbe. Öffne die Skin-Seite, um Beschreibung, unterstützte Plattformen und den genauen Install-Prompt zu sehen.

Kopieren und anwenden
Klicke auf Kopieren beim Install-Prompt, füge ihn in Codex Desktop ein oder führe den CLI-Befehl aus. Der Workspace wird sofort aktualisiert.

Prüfen und Quelle behalten
Bestätige das neue Aussehen und lege dir den Quelllink als Lesezeichen ab. Wenn Codex aktualisiert wird und eine Skin nicht mehr geht, führe die Wiederherstellung aus.
Tipps
- Start with a featured skin — it is the most likely to apply cleanly through the engine's default preset.
- Kopiere den Prompt exakt; kleine Änderungen können das Ergebnis der Engine beeinflussen.
- Behalte den Quelllink griffbereit, um nach einem Codex-Update wiederherstellen oder erneut anwenden zu können.
- Mit Kategorie- und Stimmungsfiltern kannst du aus 100+ Skins die wenigen finden, die zu dir passen.

Prompt applies but nothing visibly changes
Confirm the engine is running and pointed at the right Codex window. Restart Codex Desktop, then re-apply.

Skin looks different from the preview
Previews approximate the source palette. Check the source link for the exact theme file and version.

Codex updated and the skin stopped working
Use the engine's restore-to-default option, then re-apply. Keeping the source link makes this a two-minute fix.

CLI /theme says no themes installed
Run the port install script first, then reopen the CLI prompt. Some ports cache colors at startup.
