시작하기 전에

엔진은 한 번만 설치
Codex Dream Skin 같은 스킨 엔진 또는 Codex Skin Manager 같은 관리자를 클론/다운로드. 한 번만 설정하면 됩니다.

인덱스에서 스킨 고르기
카테고리 또는 무드/색상으로 검색. 스킨 페이지에서 설명, 호환 플랫폼, 설치 프롬프트를 확인.

복사하고 적용
설치 프롬프트를 복사해 Codex Desktop에 붙여넣거나 CLI 명령을 실행하면 워크스페이스가 즉시 업데이트됩니다.

확인하고 소스 보관
새 모양을 확인한 뒤 소스 링크를 북마크. Codex 업데이트로 스킨이 깨지면 원본 복원 단계로 돌아갈 수 있습니다.
팁
- Start with a featured skin — it is the most likely to apply cleanly through the engine's default preset.
- 프롬프트는 정확히 복사하세요. 작은 편집도 엔진이 적용하는 내용을 바꿀 수 있습니다.
- Codex 업데이트 후 복원/재적용할 수 있도록 소스 링크를 보관하세요.
- 카테고리와 무드 필터로 100+ 개의 스킨을 취향에 맞는 몇 개로 좁히세요.

문제 해결
가장 흔한 4가지 문제와 해결책.

Prompt applies but nothing visibly changes
Confirm the engine is running and pointed at the right Codex window. Restart Codex Desktop, then re-apply.

Skin looks different from the preview
Previews approximate the source palette. Check the source link for the exact theme file and version.

Codex updated and the skin stopped working
Use the engine's restore-to-default option, then re-apply. Keeping the source link makes this a two-minute fix.

CLI /theme says no themes installed
Run the port install script first, then reopen the CLI prompt. Some ports cache colors at startup.
